Boiler Service Plan – Terms & Conditions

 Provided by Christians Plumbing & Heating

These Terms & Conditions apply to the Boiler Service Plan (“the Plan”) offered by Christians Plumbing & Heating, operated by a Gas Safe Registered engineer with 25 years of industry experience. By joining the Plan, you agree to the terms outlined below.

DETAILS

 

1. About the Plan

The Boiler Service Plan provides annual boiler maintenance and additional benefits in return for a fixed monthly payment of £9.50 per month (£114 per year). The Plan is designed to help maintain the safety, efficiency, and reliability of your boiler.


2. What the Plan Includes

The Plan provides the following services once every 12 months:

  • Annual Boiler Service carried out in accordance with 26.9 regulations
  • Expansion Vessel Recharge
  • System Inhibitor Top‑Up
  • Priority Call‑Outs (Monday–Friday)
  • 10% discount on all future boiler maintenance (parts & labour)
  • Automatic annual service reminders

All work is carried out by Christians Plumbing & Heating, a Gas Safe Registered business.


3. What the Plan Does Not Include

The Plan does not cover:

  • Boiler breakdown repairs
  • Replacement parts
  • Emergency call‑outs outside Monday–Friday
  • Powerflushing
  • Repairs to pre‑existing faults
  • Replacement of boilers, cylinders, radiators, or pipework
  • Faults caused by poor installation, misuse, or third‑party work

If additional work is required, a quotation will be provided before any repairs are carried out.


4. Payment Terms

  • The Plan costs £9.50 per month, paid via Direct Debit.
  • Payments must be up to date before any service or benefit can be provided.
  • Missed or failed payments may result in suspension or cancellation of the Plan.
  • The Plan renews automatically every 12 months unless cancelled.

5. Service Appointments

  • Annual services are arranged by mutual agreement.
  • Christians Plumbing & Heating will send a reminder when your service is due.
  • Missed appointments without reasonable notice may incur a rebooking fee.
  • Appointments may be rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances.

6. Priority Call‑Outs

  • Priority call‑outs apply Monday to Friday only.
  • Priority means you will be attended before non‑plan customers, but same‑day attendance cannot be guaranteed.
  • Call‑outs relating to breakdown repairs are not included in the Plan and will be chargeable.

7. Customer Responsibilities

To remain eligible for the Plan, customers must:

  • Provide safe access to the boiler and system
  • Ensure the system remains filled and pressurised
  • Report issues promptly
  • Avoid DIY repairs or modifications

8. Cancellation

  • You may cancel the Plan at any time with 30 days’ notice.
  • Payments already made are non‑refundable.
  • If the annual service has already been completed, the remaining balance for the year becomes payable upon cancellation.

9. Engineer Access

If Christians Plumbing & Heating cannot gain access to your property at the agreed time, the appointment may need to be rescheduled and may incur a fee.


10. Liability

Christians Plumbing & Heating is not liable for:

  • Damage caused by existing faults or poor installation
  • Issues arising from third‑party work
  • Loss of heating or hot water due to breakdowns not covered by the Plan
  • Damage caused by failure to maintain system pressure or water levels

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights.


11. Gas Safe Registration

All work is carried out by a Gas Safe Registered engineer with 25 years of professional experience.


12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
